Nancy Jane Weidner (1823-1918)

Nancy Jane Weidner was born in Middletown, Butler, Ohio on May 9, 1823 to Daniel Weidner and Nancy Ann Reed. Her parents were from Pennsylvania of German descent. At some point in her childhood her parents moved to Lewis County, Missouri where she married January 28, 1840 to Thomas Proctor House. They had their first child in Monticello, Lewis County. Their second child was born two years later in Clark County and the third back in Lewis County where Nancy Jane and her husband spent the rest of their married lives. Thomas died shortly after the civil war, in 1867. Nancy remarried to a Mr. Woods and died in Sumner, Chariton County, Missouri on May 21, 1918.
