Floated In

James Collings and Conrad Wickberg, laborers, while in a boat on the estuary opposite East Oakland at 8:30 o'clock yesterday morning, found the body of a man floating in on the waves. The Coroner's office was notified, and the remains were conveyed to the morgue. Nothing could be found on the body that might lead to an identification. The man was about 50 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches in height and stoutly built. His hair was black and slightly gray. He had a brown mustache. The body was dressed in a black and while woolen checked shirt, a suit of black clothes and laces shoes. The remains were badly decomposed, and had evidently been in the water for more than a week.
